Getting your water tested is an important step in choosing the right system for your water. With the watercheck series of tests a professional lab will examine your water and determine any contaminates it may contain. With proper test results Water Filter USA can prepare the system that fits your needs.
The Watercheck includes a 97 item check for:
- Bacteria (presence/absence for coliform and E.coli)
- (17) heavy metals and minerals
- (5) other inorganic chemicals
- (5) physical characteristics
- (4) trihalomethanes
- (44) volatile organic chemicals
- (20) pesticides, herbicides and PCBs.
Once ordered your testing kit will be shipped to your home. You will follow the instructions included to gather a water sample for testing. Once you have your sample, simply return your kit to the testing labratory location indictated in the instructions (note: return shipping not included). Once received the testing labratory will have your results within 7-10 business days from the date it arrives. Your testing results will be mailed directly to you.
Warning: If you are looking to test for bacteria, testing water sample and test kit must arrive back at the testing labratory within 24 hours of taking the sample.

Complete Iron Test: The complete Iron test will address: Bacterial Iron, Dissolved Iron and Total Iron in city or well water. Iron can create orange staining on your home and in your tubs and toilets. Iron Bacteria normally gives a reddish-brown or yellowish slime in water tanks, faucets, toilet and plumbing.
Radon Test: Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is colorless and odorless. The only way to determine its presence is to have a laboratory analysis performed.
Tannins Test: Tannins can cause a faint yellow to brown color when present in water. Tannins are formed from the decomposition of vegetative matter and can be quite common in ground water sources.
