The Best Water Ever
Tuesday 20 July, 2010
I have had the worst tasting, smelling water around. Years ago I rented and then purchased a system for $1,800. I was told this was the best and only type of treatment for sulfur. Over the years with the rental I spent, the purchase price and the costly treatment I had to purchase and add frequently we must have spent OVER $4,000.! The system never really worked right I guess I wanted to believe it was working. Finally I could not take the smell, cost and noise it made anymore and started to research water treatments and found Pelican. We purchased the sulfur system, carbon tank, and the salt free system had it delivered and my husband and son-in-law installed it. I refused to let my husband get rid of the boxes it was delivered in because I was so unsure it was staying. Well let me sum it up...YOU COULD NOT BUY THIS UNIT OFF OF ME!!! I absolutely love it and would HIGHLY recommend this company - from the WONDERFUL sales people, the technical support team (who can't do enough to help you) right to the fantastic product they sell! This is an honest company with unbelievable products! Trust me if you order you will not be returning the products...my water is HONESTLY better than bottled water and trust me I have spent thousands on that too!

Natursoft salt free
Sunday 04 July, 2010
I installed my new no salt softener two months ago and it was the best money I have ever spent. Our clothes feel like they have fabric softener in them but we do not use it. We can make our coffee with tap water instead of buying bottled water. At first our water had a smell to it but after two months the water is perfect. We have no mineral buildup of any kind. The water feels soft when we shower. Thank you for a great product. I will have saved over $800.00 a year in salt and softener rental. Thanks again James and Dee DeYoung.

Filter & Softener Combo
Tuesday 01 June, 2010
We just installed the Whole House Filter & Softener combo on Sunday 5/30/10, we removed a product we had rented the day before, because it used salt and the water still had a funny taste even though it had a carbon filter on it also. I have to say, this water is the best we have had since we moved to FL. I taste tested it against zephyrhills bottled water, and there is no difference. My tap water is delicious
it has no odor,no taste it's great. I LOVE IT !! Thankyou I highly recomend this stystem !!

PSE1800
Thursday 20 May, 2010
I ordered mine about 6 months ago and I am very happy with this product. This is very first time I ever had water softener installed for the whole house , so I can’t compare it with salt/potassium based water softener but yes I can definitely feel the difference in water quality prior to the installation. Not only it’s virtually maintenance free but it’s also more cost effective in long run as well as environment friendly. Another important point is that I didn’t notice any water pressure loss after installing this system on a 3000+ SqFt house. So unless all the bathrooms and the kitchen are being used at the same time I don’t see any problem using this unit over the bigger system (PSE2000).
Basically it’s a 3 stage filtering system which removes sediments, chlorine and then it finally changes the property of minerals in the water to make softer. After a few months of using this product I can absolutely say that it really works. I used to have water filters all over the house and replace them every 6 months spending about $500 a year but no more! By the way, those filters only removes sediments and chlorine but not hard water.
The installation wasn’t too hard but mainly it was because I didn’t have the right tools and didn’t know the difference between PVC and CPVC. I used 1 inch PVC up to the point where I had to tap on the main house water supply line which was CPVC which is not compatible to each other. With the help of someone from Home Depot I could make the connections and in the end everything worked out fine. So my suggestion for those of you who want to install without help of a plumber is to know what type of pipe is installed behind the wall. I solved my problem with the Sharkbite coupler and a couple of elbow adapters to connect between PVC and CPVC. Sharkbite is not cheap but it makes the job too easy without any leakage! Some people might disagree, especially plumbers, but you don’t really need plumbing license to work with PVC or CPVC. All you need is a cutting tool and the glue. I also used the primer (purple liquid, not glue) prior to applying the glue. Since there won’t be any hot water passing through the pipes, 1 to 2 hrs curing time is enough.
As for the water quality, I think it takes a few weeks for you to really notice hard water is no longer the issue, and especially it is noticeable during the shower time. The water feels slightly slippery with or without soap and the fact that you’re not exposed to chlorine makes all worth it. It also makes very easy to clean kitchen and bathroom because there won’t be any mineral buildups. Even the dishes come out cleaner from the dishwasher and keeps inside of dishwasher cleaner as well.
The bottom line is that if you have a house and a small extra space in your garage (or wherever the main water line is) you can install this system and enjoy every drop of water for the whole house. You won’t regret it!!

Highly Recommend Pelican PSE1800 System
Monday 17 May, 2010
Just a short note to say how pleased we are with the whole house water filter system. We live in Hollywood MD and use a well for our water needs. Last Summer, after weeks of research, I finally took the leap of faith and ordered your PSE1800 Premium Whole House Filter-Softener for 1-3 Bathrooms. Prior to your system, we had to filter our drinking water through a "pitcher" filtering system. Our water tasted and smelled bad. Since we've installed the system in August 2009, our drinking water straight from the tap tastes as good if not better than bottled water, no more rust rings in the porcelain bowls or showers, the softening system (although as advertised NOT a water softener) has actually made our skin and hair feel much softer after showering. Have changed the 5-micron sediment prefilter system filter once after six months and was amazed at the amount of sediment it had removed. All in All, after 8 months, we couldn't be more pleased. We've highly recommended your system to all who asked. Regards, Cal & Jean Weaver Hollywood, MD
