No warranty is made with respect to defects or damaged due to neglect, misuse, alterations, accident, misapplication, physical damage, or damaged caused by fire, acts of God, or freezing.

| Q. What is the pre-filter system? |
The Whole House Pre-filter System reduces particulates down to five (5) microns in size. Routine replacement of this 5-Micron pre-filter media will increase the effectiveness and extend the life of your water filtration system. With average use, each filter is effective for approximately 6-9 months. The pre-filter system removes particles from the water that are the size of a red blood cell or 20 times smaller than a human hair.

| Q. Why is the pre-filter housing blue and not clear? |
The pre-filter housing is blue for good reason. Having a clear housing allows light to penetrate the housing which can cause algae to grow in the pre-filter housing. A blue non-transparent housing prevents the light from coming in contact from the water, thus the possibility from algae forming from light exposure.

| Q. Where does it mount? |
The entire pre-filter system mounts to the wall with the bracket and screws provided with the Pelican Water System. The entire pre-filter system is approximately 7 1/4" Wide x 13 1/2" High, very compact and easy to mount.
