I built a new house in West Hempstead, New York. I did not like the taste of the tap water in the area, and decided to purchase the PC1000. I researched other "whole house" filters, and yours seemed to be the most cost-efficient. You also provided a good deal of information on your web site, which helped in my decision making process. I purchased the unit over a year ago, but due to construction delays, etc, did not get it in-line until about 3 months ago. The bottom line is that I was a bit skeptical at first whether I would really see that much of a difference with the filter installed, and boy was I wrong. The taste of the water greatly improved after the installation. I didn't anticipate, however, that I would be able to "see" the difference. The pink rings around the sink downspouts and toiled bowls (from the rust in the unfiltered water) were now also gone. Purchasing your PC1000 was one of the better decisions I made during the building process. You have a very satisfied customer. Thank you, Ed Schacher
